Puresend Releases Purecast 9.23

Puresend announces the release of Purecast 9.23. Purecast is our flagship email sending and reporting application, served to our customers as a cloud based subscription. Purecast has been continuously enhanced and fine tuned since its original launch in 2001. In addition to addressing many bugs and making numerous general improvements to our code base and user interface, this release (including numerous point releases completed during 2022) incorporates the following exciting new features and enhancements:
- All new Job Creation and Job Confirmation pages. These enhanced pages are better organized, cleaner, and provide more information related to your jobs.
- New Job Reporting feature to display Pre-Fetch / Proxy Opens (“Pre Fetch”) for Gmail and Apple devices. As you may have heard, Apple and Gmail are artificially inflating open rates by triggering an Open prior to an actual recipient truly opens an email. We have broken out the respective User Agents for these “Pre-Fetch” opens and have displayed them in a separate area within our Standard Job Report.
- Enhancements to Dashboard page, where a user will now be taken to the Job View page when clicking on Job ID within Dashboard, as opposed to Job Report. This will allow for easier direct commands related to that job, like replication or pausing.
- Improvements to backend schema to speed up processing of resource intensive domain level reports.
- Ability to run Message Track Reports in the background, with delivery via email upon completion.
- We have revised the backend of our Knowledge Management documentation for Purecas. You may access this new section via the Help button after you login to Purecast or you may access at https://docs.puresend.com
- One-Click Unsubscribe functionality.
- New Report: Non Active Domain Report…allows a user to compile jobs from one or more clusters and receive an output file of delivery percentage by recipient domain.
- Suppress Prior Job Delivery: When creating a new job, a user now has the ability to suppress just those names that delivered from a prior job. If a prior job was not completed or had blocks, only these names would be queued for sending.
- Enhancements to the look and feel of the Standard Job Report
- Enhancements to the look and feel of List Menu pages
- Inclusion of Header based priority sending queues
- Addition of new premium relay sending partner: SMTP.com
Lastly, Puresend has completely transitioned its underlying Mail Transfer Agent (“MTA”) software from MesseBird’s Momentum to Power MTA product. This transition took the better part of 2022, as we redesigned our entire infrastructure so as to take full advantage of this best in class MTA software.

- Automated Job Pause Feature: Ability to preconfigure your jobs to automatically pause and unpause at certain times of the day. One may also set a job to pause throughout a weekend.
- Ability to send Message Track emails via Sparkpost premium network.
- Inclusion of Last Delivery Date field within each list…which can additionally be leveraged within the Search Criteria functionality.
- New and revised standard fields within Lists

- Improvements to many facets of the Purecast User Interface:
- Enhanced the ease of searching for a single Job within the Reporting Menu
- Included additional Bee.io templates to assist with the initial Message creation process
- Specific folder location is now included when Viewing a Job…allowing for quick access to a Job in specific its Folder or Sub Folder
- Enhanced Layout and look of Top Menu Navigation (including mobile devices)

- Enhancements to Rules section, including the ability to replicate and edit existing rules

- Ability to easily download underlying data for “Summary by Devise” graphical reporting, found at the bottom of Standard Job Reports
- The inclusion of a Delivery Time Stamp data field to Confirmed Open reports. This will provide an additional data point to detect bots or security software that may be automatically opening emails
- Ability to store and move Rules into Folders
- Ability to create and save Jobs directly into Folders
- When requesting a Domain Level Report, you will now have the ability to set the number of Domains to query. This is helpful for B2B and General Internet domains
- Improvements to our Inbox / Content Analysis Reports, powered by Glock Apps

- Invisible Link Trap
- Ability to add an invisible link within your Messages. This will provide assistance in determining whether your engagement metrics are the result of security screening software
- Results will be reported in the Click-Thru section within the Standard and Aggregate Reports.
- Ability to use Tags within Search Criteria
Puresend Releases Purecast 9.10.2 December 19, 2019 Puresend announces the release of Purecast 9.10.2 Purecast, our flagship email sending and reporting application,which has been continuously enhanced and fine tuned since its original launch in 2001. In addition to addressing many bugs and making numerous general improvements to our code base, this release incorporates the following new features:
- Encounters by Desktop and Non Desktop Devices
- Within the Clickthru Section on Standard and Aggregate Reports you will find two new rows that list out Total Encounters (opens and clicks)…one for Desktop recipients and one for Non Desktop (mobile devices) recipients
- Details can be downloaded as a csv file
- A “Tag” column has been added to Aggregate Reports. This is a free form field that can be populated when creating a job.
- Option to Send a Live Test Job or Test Addresses prior to creating a job (“Send Test” feature on 2nd page of Job Creation) using a specific Puresend testing cluster.

In addition to addressing many bugs and making numerous general improvements to our code base, this release incorporates the following new features:
- Integration with Bee Editor (https://beefree.io)
- Purecast users will now have the ability to quickly create gorgeous, responsive emails in minutes via Bee’s powerful and well known drag and drop editor.
- Start creating by choosing from 20 pre-existing templates
- All messages created with the integrated Bee Editor will still be able to include personalized fields from your lists, image hosting, and post processing services to include masking and open/click tracking.
- New global search functionality
- From any page within Purecast, users may now search for any Job, List, Message, or Folder.
- One click job creation from blocked/bounced emails.
- By clicking an icon next to the Block/Bounce Email count listed on a Standard Job Report, a new Job (saved as a draft) will automatically create. This will allow a more streamlined process to allow one to send Blocked/Bounced emails from a different cluster.
